Rev. Donna Elia, Chair

But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that it may be made clear that this extraordinary power belongs to God and does not come from us.

Strengthening the ties between Presbytery and its member churches, COM has appointed a trained team which will visit each church every three years to hear joys and concerns, discuss their mission and ministry, provide information on training and resources available and encourage the full participation of each congregation in the life and work of the presbytery and of the larger church.

QUESTIONS FOR PREPARATION AND REFLECTION

  • Describe your congregation. What makes you proud of your congregation? How is your congregation unique?

  • Does your congregation have a current Mission Statement? What does it say and how do you use it?

  • As you look at the Ten-Year Statistics for your congregation and the other materials provided, are you surprised by anything you find?

  • What is happening in your congregation that excites you?

  • Are there particular forms of your congregation's ministry or mission that have been significant to the wider community since our last visit?

  • What is going on in your congregation that you would like other congregations to know about?
